F Series Connector (Permissible)
The “F” Series Permissible Connector is both MSHA and State of PA approved for rugged, mine duty use. Rated at 500 Amperes for up to 500 MCM cable, they are available in 1000 VAC, 2300 VAC and 5000 VAC versions. Line mounted and gear mounted housings are available with either input or output pin arrangements.
- Special super hard anodized aluminum housing for ease of connection. Reversible, insulated strain clamp accepts various cable sizes
- Packing nuts and clamps have through-holes to allow easy cable clamping Receptacles and plugs have wrench slots for fast “opposing-wrench” connection Watertight connection when mated or with dust cover
- Large internal area for ease of cable installation
- Power pins have brass nuts for easy cable/pin installation Long locking ring to ensure fast, positive engagement
- Insulators are held in place by a stainless steel, spir-o-lox retaining ring for ease of assembly Ball bearings for ease of mating plug locking ring
- Superior dielectric strength with molded fiberglass, track-resistant polyester, high-impact insulators Keyed for 1000 VAC, 2300 VAC or 5000 VAC
