Monorails
Especially designed for application in non-gassy gold and ore mines the Becker MonoRapid monorails are worth their weight in gold.
Two standard versions for the drive units, namely the
friction drive for inclines up to 14 degrees or with the
rack-and-pinion drive for inclines up to 34 degrees are available. For roads with only very short steep passages, a cost-efficient system with a rack-and-pinion auxiliary drive can be realized. The monorails are primarily driven either electrohydraulically or diesel-hydraulically. In the case of the electrohydraulic systems, a conductor rail integrated into the track system of a monorail ensures an efficient energy supply. The ventilation system remains unpolluted since there are no diesel exhaust fumes.
According to the haulage task, requirements, and haulage distance, different types of monorail systems are available:
- Electrohydraulic monorail with friction drive (Monofric)
- Electrohydraulic monorail with rack-and-pinion drive (Monorapid)
-
Diesel-hydraulic monorail with friction drive
The modular structure of the entire haulage system guarantees flexibility. Various combination possibilities in the primary unit, the drive, the individual means of haulage, and the control system are available. In the process, economic interests are fulfilled as well as the growing demands of the customers for ecological parameters, such as energy-reduced operation and the ease of maintenance.
