Speed monitoring BFS 1 with FB 096

The plant speed is monitored on the BetaControl field bus using proximity switches according to NAMUR. The corresponding FB 096 field bus module has its own microprocessor and is equipped for reading with two speed sensors.If a sensor is connected, 700 pulses/second can be processed. In the case of two sensors, 200 pulses/second can be processed for each input.

When assembled, the speed recorder is equipped with two BetaContact system plugs. A 4-pole sensor socket has been provided for every sensor and actor.

When not assembled, the system line is connected to a field bus terminal strip via cable glands. Screw terminals have been provided on the electronic module for the connection of the sensors.
