With the BOS system, we provide an integrated solution for setting up a backbone network using OWG technology.

The system consists of:

• Lines
• Assembled lines (connecting, device, and combination lines)
• Distributors
• Plug connectors
• Connecting sockets for devices in intrinsic safety "i" type of protection
• Conduits and conduit sockets for devices in flameproof enclosure "d" type of protection

The BOS system is recommended with the following properties:

• Plug technology with low via net loss for individual OWG
• Maintenance-friendly plug board with snap-in middle pieces
• Device connection via robust plug connector with 2 or 4 OWGs
• Factory-mounted cable gland for connecting and combination lines
